Stadium Green Beans
Green beans, trimmed – 2 pounds
Butter – 4 tablespoons
Garlic, minced or 2 tsp crushed garlic – 4 cloves garlic
Coconut aminos – 1/2 cup
OR soy sauce – 1/4 cup
Sesame oil – 2 tablespoons
Fish sauce – 1 teaspoon
Sea salt – 1 teaspoon
Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
Optional: Sesame Seeds
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add green beans.
Blanch green beans for 3-4 minutes.
Immediately transfer to an large bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
Using a colander, drain the green beans and let sit while you get your pan ready.
Melt butter in a large pan over medium-high heat
Add garlic and saute for 1 minute.
Add the green beans, coconut aminos, sesame oil, fish sauce, salt and black pepper and saute for 8-10 minutes or until beans reach your desired tenderness.
Garnish with sesame seeds .
