French Dip

Cooking time 15 minutes
Serves 4

Ingredients :

2 Baguettes (12 inches long, each)
400 grams Deli Roast Beef; Sliced
4 slices Cheese of choice (swiss, chedder, american, etc.)
2 tbs horseradish sauce
2 cups Beef stock
1/2 onion; quartered
1 stalk celery; quartered
1 tbs salt



Cut off ends of baguette leaving 8-10 inches of bread.

Slice in half long ways to separated the two sides of the sandwich.

Spread thin layer of horseradish sauce on one side of bread (optional).

Place 2 slices of cheese on bread.

Add 200g of roast beef.

Repeat with second sandwich.

Close sandwich and toast in a sandwich maker until hot in middle/cheese is soft/melted.

Cut in half for easier dipping.

Au Jus:

Add beef stock, onion, celery, and salt in small pot.

Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

Pour into bowl large/deep enough to dip sandwich in.
