Broiled Tilapia with Cheesy Sauce
This is an incredibly EASY dish that is on the table in about 20 minutes!
800gr Tilapia filets (any mild filet will do)
6 tablespoons butter, unsalted
½ cup chopped green onion
60gr. cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 tablespoon white wine (optional)
Dash black pepper
120gr crawfish tails
30gr. white crab meat
1. Melt the 2T. butter in a baking pan in a preheating broiler. Broil until fish is completely done (about 8-10 minutes).Salt the fish.
2. While fish is broiling, make the sauce. Melt remaining 4T. butter in non-stick skillet. Add green onion and saute until tender but still bright green. Add cream cheese and blend with spoon. Add mayonnaise and all remaining ingredients and simmer until fish is done. This is just the right amount of sauce for two servings. Double recipe for more filets/servings.
3. Remove the fish from broiling pan to serving plates and top with sauce.
4. You can serve this with asparagus, broccoli or a green salad.
