Add these to some plain yogurt with crushed roasted nuts.

Walnuts : Nuts are high in healthy fats (which have been shown to actually increase weight loss), protein (an important nutrient to help you stay full), and fiber to help you digest your foods properly.
Oats or better yet, kamut flakes: Oats have a special kind of fiber that has been show to help to lower cholesterol. Start each morning with a warm bowl of oatmeal or kamut flakes topped with plain organic yogurt and sweetened with pure unpasteurized honey.
Berries : Blueberries are perhaps one of the mightiest of superfoods. Most everyone loves them, and they are easy to munch on for a sweet yet healthy dessert.
Garlic : Sure, your Mom can always smell it when you had garlic for dinner, but embrace this smell! It is used as a medicine to fight infections, lower cholesterol and more. Add it raw to a nice fresh dip like hummus, for full nutritional benefit.
