2 cans tuna
1/4-3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup onion-chopped
1 stalk celery
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp paprika
4 slices cheese
8 slices bread
2 tablespoons butter; softened
Take two cans of tuna and drain the water/vegetable oil from it.
Next put the tuna in a bowl and add between 1/4 to 3/4 cup mayonnaise. I like to just add mayo to taste.
Then add 1/4 cup of chopped onion and one stalk of celery that is also copped.
Next add 1/4 tsp of nutmeg and 1/4 tsp of paprika.
After that add salt and pepper to taste.
You can add more or less nutmeg and paprika to taste also.
Take eight slices of bread and butter one side of each, If you do not want to use butter olive oil may be substituted.
Place 4 slices of the bread butter side up on a cookie sheet.
Put in the oven at 375 degrees F.
Take the bread out once golden brown Turn the bread slices upside down and place the tuna mixture on each slice.
Add your favorite cheese on top of the tuna mixture and place the other four bread slices butter side up on top of the tuna.
Put back into the oven until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
