Egyptian Pie

4 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 ½ cups of flour
1 tsp. of baking soda
½ cup of lukewarm water

For the bottom crust:
125 g of butter
2 packs of tea biscuits
500 g of figs
100 grams of raisins
½ cup of cinnamon
50-70 g of sugar
powdered sugar

Instructions:

Dough:
Beat 4 eggs with 1 cup of sugar, add 1 ½ cups of flour, 1 tsp. of baking soda and ½ cups of lukewarm water.

Bottom Crust:
Put in a large tray 125g of butter, melt it in the oven.

On the top of the butter, we pour and straighten 2 packs of tea biscuits, ground into crumbs.

On the top of the crust, we pour 500 grams of figs cut into quarters, 100 grams of raisins (pre-mixed 2 kinds of fruit, add 1/2 cup of cinnamon and 50-70 grams of sugar), then pour the dough and bake the pie in a heated oven 180 ° C for about 45 min.

Remove, sprinkle powdered sugar and when it cools cut into squares.
