Veal Stew: An Old Bulgarian Recipe
Enjoy this simple and very tasty recipe
1 kilogram of veal with no bones
3/4 cup of oil
2 cup of vinegar
1 head of garlic
1 tsp. of cinnamon
oil for spreading
salt to taste
The meat is cleaned from the skins and cut into portions that are crushed with a wooden hammer.
Sprinkle with salt, ground pepper, allspice, cumin and cinnamon to taste.
Brush with oil and roast on a hot grill until a brown crust forms on their surface.
The fried meat is placed in a separate dish.
Between the pieces of meat put cleaned cloves of garlic.
Pour with boiled oil, vinegar and some hot water.
The dish is covered with a lid and dipped with dough.
Stew on a low heat for about 1 hour.
