Beans Salad With Babek
An interesting Bulgarian recipe. “Babek” is a kind of spicy homemade sausages, made of pieces of meat and then dried for some days. It is little salty in order to be preserved better.
1 1/2 cups of oiled beans
100 g of babek
50 ml of oil
50 ml of vinegar
1 tsp. of grated horseradish
The well cooked and drained beans are mixed with the thin strips of onions.
Add the finely chopped babek, boiled and diced eggs, salt and pepper to taste.
Salad is poured with olive oil and vinegar, mix gently and serve sprinkled with grated horseradish.
