Chicken bites a la Happy
For the chicken pieces:
500g of chicken meat from the drumstick
250-300 g of marinated mushrooms
100 g of cheese
60ml of soy sauce
2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil
about 1/2 cup of flour
pepper to taste
For mashed potatoes:
1 kg of potatoes
1 cup of milk
lump of butter
salt and pepper to taste
a pinch of nutmeg
Prepare mashed potatoes.
Boil the unpeeled potatoes.
Peel the potatoes and mash them using a press.
Add the butter and pour the milk slowly while it takes the whole.
Sprinkle with spices and stir.
Debone and clean the meat from the skin.
Cut it in pieces and roll in flour.
Place it in a large strainer and shake off excess flour.
Fry the pieces over high heat until golden.
Cut the mushrooms into slices and pour into the pan with the meat.
Reduce the heat and wait until the mushrooms soften slightly.
Pour 1 cup of water and the soy sauce.
Sprinkle with pepper to taste, cover the pan and cook products for 5 minutes or until the dish thickens slightly.
Serve the pieces, topped with mashed potatoes.
While still warm sprinkle with grated cheese.
