Rabbits are well-mannered and seldom use harsh words or foul language. Instead they cater to your every whim until they get their way. Before you know it, you have been won over! Although Rabbits appear slow at times, they are actually practicing caution. They read all the fine print before signing their names. When everyone is rushing around, Rabbits remind you that there is still tomorrow. Their motto is “live and let live”. Rabbits would never embarrass you in public and they know how to save face. If Rabbits can spare your feelings, they will. For this, they are well liked.

Rabbits make few enemies and rarely get into serious trouble. No one is more understanding. Rabbits give you all the sympathy you need. Just don’t expect them to go out and do battle for you. Above all else the Rabbit is a peacemaker. They no doubt have excellent diplomatic skills and, while they don’t like conflict, they are the first person their friends turn to when it’s necessary to make peace among them. Their sense of calm and their modest, unassuming presence is just what’s needed to smooth all those ruffled feathers. They are also valued for their kindness. They are sensitive to the needs of people around them and thoughtfully do little things to make them happy. Their kindness extends to animals, and it is especially there where we see their gentle heart. They are a soft touch for almost every litter critter. They likely have exquisite taste in both dress and the arts. Suave and style conscious them want to wear the latest fashions and are always appropriately dressed for the occasion. If they are not an artist themselves, they have an excellent appreciation of the arts and can be a good critic.

The Rabbit’s love of peace manifests itself in a somewhat negative way as a love of comfort. They generally avoid any kind of argument perhaps as much because it would disturb their peace of mind as because they are basically a timid soul and wither under criticism. They do, however, aggressively pursue their creature comforts and have a definite sybaritic streak. In other words, they like the comfort luxuries bring and find yourself right at home in the mall.  Perhaps it’s a defense mechanism to protect their gentle heart, but for whatever reason, they are usually somewhat detached. At times the world can be too harsh and intimidating for a person as gentle as them. They can be moody, which might help explain their tendency to become melancholic. It’s hard to know their motivation for these, as they can be very secret about their personal life. That doesn’t, however, stop them from talking about ours.

In spite of their occasional physical and emotional withdrawal from the world, they actually crave the company of people and are quite adept at social relations being the diplomat they are. Unfortunately for the rest of us, they can be manipulative, and they are good at it. Their motives however aren’t evil. Usually they are just trying to get us to do something they find too unpleasant to handle themselves or to simply buy something for them, preferably clothes or dinner at an elegant restaurant. They are ever the opportunist.

The Rabbit In Relationships

Above all Rabbits love peace and their creature comforts. They need a gentle person to make them happy. And, it would help if they have a fair amount of money. They crave company and treasure their relationships. They are not only a social animal, but they like the security that comes with being in a relationship.  In spite of this, they still like to keep their personal life personal. It’s not unusual for them to keep secrets from even those in close relationships. It’s not so much that they have anything to hide, it’s just they don’t want people knowing all those details—perhaps they feel vulnerable when people know too much about their private life.

Speaking of vulnerability, it is not easy to pick themselves up off the floor when a relationship goes bad. It takes a long time for those wounds to heal.  They are comfortable letting their partner take the lead in most matters; however, they do have a strong passive-aggressive side as well. In other words, they have their ways, and can even be quite cunning, in getting their partner to do their bidding using indirect approaches. A night at the theater and dinner at a fine restaurant will indeed bring out their romantic side.

In close personal relationships they can be very romantic, but their natural cautiousness prevents them from settling down or committing to any one person right away.

At work, they excel by remaining cool and collected, and can be relied upon for extreme tact in delicate business dealings.

Rabbits are most compatible with : Sheep, Dog, Pig
