The Chinese Astrology Tiger Personality

Tiger personality traits

One of the most dynamic signs in the Chinese zodiac, Tigers are by turns fascinating, commanding, and exasperating.

Tigers are born brave. They are powerful and intelligent and they do well in life. They could be agile. The tiger is loyal.

They are patient but short-tempered, calm but rebellious, petty but noble, fearsome but affectionate, free spirits but fiercely territorial.

With their many & various personality traits, Tigers are also – not surprisingly – noted for a marked reluctance to make up their minds.

What makes them magnetic and commanding figures is the absolute loyalty and affection they show for those they love. With a natural air of authority, Tigers easily earn the respect and admiration of those who love them in return.

The adventurous and courageous Tiger is a born leader. They are not afraid to blaze new trails, and, given their independent streak, they are more than willing to do it alone if necessary. Their firm determination also makes them a fierce competitor.

Their passion also gives them the potential to be a star performer. Colorful and dynamic, they have a commanding presence before any group. Yes, we can count on them to command our attention and generate excitement.

Interestingly, they have another side, that of the playful kitten. It’s characterized not only by youthful innocence and optimism but also a playful sense of humor. They enjoy telling jokes, which are all the more funny because people usually see their serious side and are caught off guard to see them out of character.

Their kinder and gentler side also includes a genuine humanitarian streak. They are empathetic and keenly sense the emotions and feelings of others, to which they respond with compassion and a sincere desire to help when needed. They tend to be very affectionate towards family and friends and charitable to everyone, being especially touched by those most in need.

The downside of the Tiger’s passion is that it can lead to emotional distress, especially when frustrated by people or events. They have a tendency to be anxious and edgy.  This uneasiness of mind could come from brooding fear about some contingency or simply a feeling of being tense or on edge. Their high energy level fueled by passion often makes them impatient. They want to do things right away and can become deeply frustrated with unplanned delays. Their rashness sometimes manifests itself as impulsive behavior. There is a bit of the “fools rush in” mentality in them. In other words, they don’t always think things through before they act.

Tiger people are sensitive, given to deep thinking, capable of great sympathy. They can be extremely short-tempered, however. Other people have great respect for them, but sometimes tiger people come into conflict with older people or those in authority. Tiger people cannot make up their minds, which can result in a poor, hasty decision or a sound decision arrived at too late. Tigers are suspicious of others, but they are courageous and powerful. Tigers are most compatible with Horses, Dragons, and Dogs

Tigers are capable of great love. However, they have a tendency to get carried away and be stubborn about what you think is right; often seen as a “Hothead” or rebel. This sign shows you would be excellent as a boss, explorer, race car driver, or matador. Tigers are rebels. They are both colorful and unpredictable. Their energy and love of life are stimulating. They love being the center of attention and never go unnoticed. Tigers are impatient and always look for action. They speak their minds when upset and have suspicious natures.

In spite of their quick tempers, they are sincere, generous and very affectionate. They also possess a great sense of humor. Tigers like people, involvement, and dedication to humanitarian causes. They seek out adventures, and at certain points in their lives, they will be very rebellious. They must act out some of their ideals and lash out at the wrongs of society. Tigers are so daring that they acquire many admirers. Those who disapprove of what Tigers do still will secretly admire Tigers for their actions.

When Tigers are injured they need all-out sympathy. Logic does not appeal to them. They want to be comforted. They will listen sincerely to the advice you give, and then do exactly as they please. Since they have a lot of spunk, no matter how down and out they get, they never give up. They can always start over again.

The Tiger in Relationships

Above all the Tiger is passionate and romantic. They let people know where they stand with them as they readily display their feelings. In their younger years they are likely to have some intense crushes and love affairs. It is not surprising for the Tiger to be married more than once.

The best thing for them to do is give their passions free reign during their youth and experience all that they want out of life.
